Introducing DahliaSearch

DahliaSearch is the dahlia search engine and wiki (accepting user contributions). You can create a free account to follow dahlias and suppliers. Suppliers can also register for their own page at an affordable fee ($25 currently), and list their tubers. There is also a blog where I post dahlia growing advice.

Here is a walkthrough of some of the features…
When you first visit, you will be greeted with the featured dahlia of the day (chosen from the contributed photos).

You can contribute any data you like to any data. It is incredibly important to cite data from any sources you use data from.

Contributed data can be voted on. Data with the most votes will be the data displayed.

Find dahlia tuber suppliers and view their ratings. You can filter suppliers by their status (sales open, sales closed, waiting on eyes, and temporarily closed).

On a supplier page, you can view various information about a supplier. Supplier managers can write about their suppliers, add a link to their website, Facebook page, and Instagram page.

You can also send messages to any member, including supplier managers. This should be useful for members to ask suppliers about availability if they haven’t updated their stock in a while.

Of course, you can view the Dahlia Wiki without an account, too.

If you have any questions, have feedback, or would to see any features, please leave a comment below! I’m want to grow this resource for dahlia lovers and want it to be as helpful as possible.
